About the job

The purpose of this role is responsible to manage all activities related to Dairy Ingredients sourcing for Water and SN CBUs in collaboration with Global/Regional Dairy Buyer. Align Global/Regional category strategy with Local needs and execute according to the agreed action plans, timeline, cost, and complying with organization’s policies and standard.

This role is also responsible as CBU category leader/contact person with Global/Regional Category Team in assessing and enhancing market intelligence (informations, updates and highlights) to foster excellent collaboration, further more in contribution to overall P&L, productivity and innovation.

And ensuring unintteruptible material supply day-to-day operation in coordination with Supply Chain, Quality, R&I and Manufacturing team members to mitigate any related and/or inherent risk transparently and accordingly.

sourcing :

• Co-build together with C&P Regional and Global CAT teams the appropriate sourcing strategies and engage internal stake holders into those strategies
• Understand the needs (capacity, technical & functional spec.) of material by respective CBU nature, SN and Water
• To lead homologation of potential suppliers of respective category for Water and SN CBU
• To secure compliance of contract with local needs and requirement.
• Manage & escalate communication with supplier and/or internal stakeholder for commercial related issu

Vendor Management :

• To review and validate supply mapping for SN & Water CBU in order to have the most optimum supply network in respective category in cooperation with Global/ Regional Category.
• Liaise and collaborate with global C&P team for potential global and/or regional leverage

• In cooperation with Category team, perform the annual supplier performance evaluation comprehensively by involving related stakeholders and implement action plan.

Project: Productivity, Quality & Innovation :

• To generate productivity initiatives & ideas to support company objectives
• To lead continuos quality performance improvement delivered by suppliers
• Collaborate with Supplier Enabled Innovation Manager in promoting innovation ideas driven by supplier in cooperation with category team.
• To support all NPD initiatives/projects resulted from LIM with excellence in execution

Policy & Prochedure :

• To comply with endorsed C&P Policy & Procedure during all procurement activities (DANGO).
• Liaise with supplier development section, align and execute group driven related compliance initiatives (i.e. Sedex, WISE, etc.) in cooperation with Category team.

About you

Bachelor or Master degree, preferably Chemical Engineering, Finance or Food Technology

5+ years of relevant working experience (includes training and talent development experience) And 2+ years of Procurement experience.

• Experience in Category or Local Procurement, including negotiation with suppliers.
• Track record of delivering excellence in project/action execution, especially in a complex environment, influencing and engaging other departements as part of collaboration
• Possess a solid problem solving and decision making with calculated risk consiousness
• Possess a strong communication skill both verbal and written to be able to perform regular communication to the leadership team and the team of staffs and overseas/global/regional category teams.
• Possess a strong interpersonal skill to be able to interact with multiple and different stakeholders
• Possess a strong ability to work competently both independently and as a team
